Sign Up for Optum Intelligent EDI Services
This guide will walk you step by step through the sign up process for Optum
Intelligent EDI Services.
In order to begin, you will need to:
Have organization information available, such as: Tax ID, Group NPI, Address, Phone/Fax Numbers, etc.
Determine who the organization's account administrator will be.This individualís
contact information will be entered during the sign-up process.
Decide which Intelligent EDI services to sign up for.
Have an authorized individual electronically sign the contract.
Decide on method of payment for selected services (credit or check) and have that payment information on hand.
Be prepared to enter physician information, including names and NPI numbers.
